স্পেন কাতালোনিয়া বিএনপির (আংশিক) কমিটির সাংগঠনিক সম্পাদক নির্বাচিত হলেন তরুণ নেতা লায়েবুর রহমান

বাংলাদেশ জাতীয়তাবাদী দল (বিএনপি) স্পেন কাতালোনিয়া শাখার (আংশিক) নবগঠিত কমিটিতে সাংগঠনিক সম্পাদক হিসেবে নির্বাচিত হয়েছেন সিলেটের বিশ্বনাথ উপজেলার ৪নং রামপাশা ইউনিয়নের রামপাশা গ্রামের কৃতি সন্তান ও প্রবাসী তরুণ বিএনপি নেতা লায়েবুর রহমান। তার এই গুরুত্বপূর্ণ দায়িত্বপ্রাপ্তির খবরে প্রবাসী বাংলাদেশি কমিউনিটি, বিএনপি ও এর অঙ্গ-সহযোগী সংগঠনের নেতাকর্মীদের মধ্যে আনন্দ ও উৎসাহের সৃষ্টি হয়েছে।
নতুন দায়িত্ব পাওয়ার পর এক প্রতিক্রিয়ায় লায়েবুর রহমান বলেন, “দল আমাকে যে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ দায়িত্ব অর্পণ করেছে, তা আমার জন্য অত্যন্ত গর্বের এবং সম্মানের। এই দায়িত্ব আমাকে আরও বেশি দায়িত্বশীলতা, সততা ও নিষ্ঠার সঙ্গে দলের সাংগঠনিক কার্যক্রম পরিচালনায় অনুপ্রাণিত করবে। আমি স্পেনে বিএনপির সাংগঠনিক ভিত্তি আরও শক্তিশালী করতে এবং দলের আদর্শ সাধারণ মানুষের কাছে পৌঁছে দিতে সর্বোচ্চ আন্তরিকতা ও শ্রম দিয়ে কাজ করে যাব।”
তিনি আরও বলেন, “দলের তৃণমূল থেকে শুরু করে আজ পর্যন্ত যারা আমাকে সহযোগিতা করেছেন, তাদের প্রতি আমি কৃতজ্ঞ। আমি বিশ্বাস করি, সকলের সম্মিলিত প্রচেষ্টায় স্পেনে বিএনপির সাংগঠনিক কার্যক্রম আরও গতিশীল ও শক্তিশালী হবে।”
লায়েবুর রহমান তার এই দায়িত্বপ্রাপ্তির জন্য বাংলাদেশ জাতীয়তাবাদী দল (বিএনপি)-এর কেন্দ্রীয় নির্বাহী কমিটির আন্তর্জাতিক বিষয়ক সম্পাদক জনাব আনোয়ার হোসেন খোকনের প্রতি গভীর কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করেন। পাশাপাশি স্পেন বিএনপির সভাপতি জামাল উদ্দিন মনির এবং সাধারণ সম্পাদক রমিজ উদ্দিনের প্রতিও আন্তরিক ধন্যবাদ ও কৃতজ্ঞতা জানান। তিনি বলেন, তাদের আস্থা, দিকনির্দেশনা এবং সার্বিক সহযোগিতা তাকে দলের জন্য আরও বেশি কাজ করার অনুপ্রেরণা জুগিয়েছে।
জানা যায়, দীর্ঘদিন ধরে স্পেনে বিএনপির রাজনীতির সঙ্গে সক্রিয়ভাবে সম্পৃক্ত রয়েছেন লায়েবুর রহমান। রাজনৈতিক জীবনের শুরু থেকেই তিনি সংগঠনকে সুসংগঠিত ও শক্তিশালী করতে নিরলসভাবে কাজ করে আসছেন। ২০১৩ সালে কাতালোনিয়া যুবদলের সদস্য হিসেবে রাজনৈতিক অঙ্গনে তার পথচলা শুরু হয়। পরবর্তীতে ২০১৪ সালে কাতালোনিয়া স্বেচ্ছাসেবক দলের সহ-সভাপতি এবং ২০১৬ সালে কাতালোনিয়া বিএনপির প্রচার সম্পাদক হিসেবে দায়িত্ব পালন করেন।
রাজনৈতিক কর্মকাণ্ডের পাশাপাশি বার্সেলোনা ও কাতালোনিয়া অঞ্চলে বিএনপির বিভিন্ন আন্দোলন-সংগ্রাম, সভা-সমাবেশ, গণসংযোগ কার্যক্রম এবং সাংগঠনিক কর্মসূচিতে তিনি সক্রিয় ও গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা পালন করে আসছেন। দলের প্রতি তার দীর্ঘদিনের নিষ্ঠা, ত্যাগ ও সাংগঠনিক দক্ষতার স্বীকৃতি হিসেবেই তাকে এই গুরুত্বপূর্ণ দায়িত্ব প্রদান করা হয়েছে বলে মনে করছেন স্থানীয় নেতাকর্মীরা।
নবনির্বাচিত সাংগঠনিক সম্পাদক লায়েবুর রহমান তার বক্তব্যে দলের সর্বোচ্চ নেতৃত্বের প্রতিও শ্রদ্ধা ও কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করেন। তিনি বাংলাদেশ সরকারের মাননীয় প্রধানমন্ত্রী এবং বাংলাদেশ জাতীয়তাবাদী দল (বিএনপি)-এর চেয়ারম্যান  জনাব তারেক রহমানের প্রতি গভীর শ্রদ্ধা, কৃতজ্ঞতা ও শুভেচ্ছা জানান। একই সঙ্গে স্পেন কাতালোনিয়া বিএনপির (আংশিক) কমিটি গঠনে সংশ্লিষ্ট সকল নীতিনির্ধারক, উপদেষ্টা ও দায়িত্বশীল নেতৃবৃন্দকে আন্তরিক অভিনন্দন ও শুভেচ্ছা জানান।
তিনি আশা প্রকাশ করেন, নবগঠিত কমিটির সকল নেতৃবৃন্দ ঐক্যবদ্ধভাবে কাজ করে স্পেনে বিএনপির সাংগঠনিক কার্যক্রমকে আরও বেগবান করবেন এবং প্রবাসী বাংলাদেশিদের অধিকার, স্বার্থ ও গণতান্ত্রিক মূল্যবোধ প্রতিষ্ঠায় গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা রাখবেন।

Young BNP Leader Layebur Rahman Appointed Organizing Secretary of BNP Catalonia (Partial Committee), Spain

Layebur Rahman, a promising young leader of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) and a native of Rampasha village under Rampasha Union of Bishwanath Upazila in Sylhet, has been appointed as the Organizing Secretary of the newly announced partial committee of BNP Catalonia, Spain.
His appointment has been warmly welcomed by BNP leaders and activists across Spain, as well as members of the Bangladeshi expatriate community who view the decision as a recognition of his long-standing dedication and contribution to the party’s organizational activities.
In an immediate reaction following the announcement, Layebur Rahman expressed his sincere gratitude to the party leadership for entrusting him with this important responsibility. He stated that the new role would inspire him to work with greater commitment, responsibility, and dedication toward strengthening the organizational structure of BNP in Spain.
“I am deeply honored by the confidence the party has placed in me. This responsibility is not only a recognition of my efforts but also a challenge that motivates me to serve the party more effectively. I will continue working tirelessly to strengthen BNP’s organizational activities and uphold the party’s ideals among the Bangladeshi community in Spain,” he said.
Layebur Rahman extended his heartfelt thanks and appreciation to Mr. Anwar Hossain Khokon, International Affairs Secretary of the BNP Central Executive Committee, for his guidance and support. He also expressed gratitude to Mr. Jamal Uddin Monir, President of BNP Spain, and Mr. Ramiz Uddin, General Secretary of BNP Spain, acknowledging their trust, leadership, and continuous encouragement.
According to party sources, Layebur Rahman has been actively involved in BNP politics in Spain for more than a decade. His political journey began in 2013 when he joined Catalonia Jubo Dal as a member. Due to his dedication and organizational capabilities, he was later appointed Vice President of Catalonia Swechchhasebak Dal in 2014 and subsequently served as Publicity Secretary of BNP Catalonia in 2016.
Over the years, he has played an active role in various political movements, demonstrations, public gatherings, organizational programs, and community engagement initiatives organized by BNP in Barcelona and across the Catalonia region. His consistent efforts, commitment, and leadership have earned him recognition among party leaders and activists alike.
Political observers and fellow party members believe that his appointment as Organizing Secretary reflects the party’s confidence in his leadership abilities and his longstanding contribution to BNP’s activities in Spain.
In his statement, Layebur Rahman also conveyed his respect and gratitude to the party’s senior leadership, particularly BNP Acting Chairman Mr. Tarique Rahman, for his leadership and vision.
